Jashan…. A celebration of the Pakistani craftsperson. 

For many years the craftspersons of Pakistan have been largely unnoticed with the designer being centrestage. Today 30 years later the Rizwan Beyg label proudly  celebrates its craft traditions via the rural network of communities set up under its Bunyaad initiative. The collection being presented for Laam fashion Week has been completely embellished by the women of rural Punjab in small communities who have now turned into a sisterhood. 

The Rizwan Beyg aesthetic of course takes centres as it has in all its collections over the years. Celebrating our festivals as in the upcoming Eid ul Fitr or summer weddings ,the collection  presents a taste of the classic heirloom trademark associated with the Beyg label . Soft handloom tissue nets and flowy  chiffon are paired with drapey silks.The palette is restrained and contained to ivory, beige  and off white elevated with pewter silver ornamentation and breaks into pinks and blues intermittently .. 

Silhouettes are classic and simple.  

Presenting JASHAN  .. a celebration of the labels evolution and a homage to the rural women of   Southern Punjab who continue to be the backbone of the Rizwan Beyg brand.
